Equipment Leasing-Lessor Protection
Equipment leasing contracts require that the lessee insure the leased equipment. However, at times the lessee does not meet its obligation. In order to protect its interest in the equipment when such a lapse occurs, the owner can purchase contingent coverage that pays for its interest in the equipment.
